This yakitori restaurant, located in Gotanda was opened by former French chef, Yuji Takahashi. The story goes that he decided to open the restaurant after falling under the spell of gitaro-shamo breed chicken from the Shinshu region. Try the chef’s special anyo (lamb) skewers or the undoubtedly delicious yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), which are made through a fusion of French and Japanese techniques. The wine list has a strong French focus and offers a choice of over 20 wines. As the Takahashi seats only about 15, there are two dinner sittings between 5pm and 8.20pm. Reservations are recommended.
