Review

A Korean restaurant that offers a particularly popular sundae – a traditional Korean-style street food made from pig’s intestines stuffed with various ingredients, including harusame (bean-starch noodles), mochigome (glutinous rice), pig’s blood and over ten different varieties of vegetables – including cabbage and onion. The sundae is handmade, slightly spicy, and eaten with salt. Both healthy and rich in iron, these tasty morsels are reported to be particularly popular with female customers. Plus, with a range of other popular Korean dishes on the menu, including pig’s feet, chiijimi, bulgogi and samgyeopsal, this is one Korean town restaurant that you’ll need to book in advance to ensure a seat. Refurbished in summer 2009. Open terrace seating available.
