Review

Kitajima-tei is well-known French restaurant with a cosy, bistro feel, which has been in business for a long time in Tokyo. We recommend first-timers to ask staff for advice, as the menu is a little complicated. Its rustic and hearty food attracts many fans, and the gelee of raw sea urchin with consommé with cauliflower cream sauce is especially worth trying. Each serving is quite big, so even the hungry will be satisfied. Alain Ducasse, the three-Michelin-starred chef, comes here to eat when he visits Tokyo.
