Review

This French restaurant features the skills of Joel Bruant, a protege of the French master Paul Bocuse, and is situated in Roppongi's Tokyo Midtown. Bruant specialises in adding his own twists to ingredients and sauces while maintaining the classical mode. Dishes featuring French game are abundantly available in winter, when helmeted guinea fowl and blue-necked duck are flown in from France. The interior is by the Japanese designer Kenzou Suzuki, who resides in France. The terrace seating is framed by cherry blossoms in the spring and is illuminated in the winter.
