Since opening their first store in New York in 2002, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have turned their Opening Ceremony brand into a global enterprise, with branches in LA, Tokyo and now London. The duo's trick is simple enough: to offer apparel that they've sourced from up-and-coming designers, co-designed with bigger labels or picked from cult streetwear brands – all of it in blink-and-you'll-miss-it runs. Three-and-a-half years after debuting in Shibuya, Opening Ceremony's Asian flagship store moved to a new site on Harajuku's Cat Street this spring, with new lines including a collaboration with Kiko Mizuhara.
