Review

If you think it looks just like a chic izakaya, you're not far off: found right in between Roppongi and Nishi-Azabu, Gogyo specialises in pairing ramen with alcohol – anything from sake to wine to cocktails. Their signature kogashi ('burned') ramen consists of a thick soy sauce- or miso-based soup topped with charred fat, making for a flavourful, smoky experience. Don't be surprised when the kitchen fills up with flames during the cooking process.
