The hearty, affordable lunch sets have made this Italian restaurant – located opposite Roppongi's Grand Hyatt Tokyo, in what was once a ¥100 shop – a popular spot for local office workers. Cucina Buona Italiana Knock enjoys tinkering with tradition: try the pasta alla genovese, made with walnuts rather than pine nuts, or peperoncino enlivened with sudachi citrus fruit. The dinner menu keeps things just as inventive, with dishes like Sardinian pane frattau flatbread that are just begging to be shared.
