Much as it's been heartening to witness the recent flourishing of Neapolitan-style pizzerias in Tokyo, the sense of authenticity hasn't tended to extend as far as the menu prices. This Shibuya eatery – a budget-priced sibling to the Pizzeria Bar Napoli chain – gets it right in that respect: you can have a margherita pizza for a mere ¥350 a pop, while even the most expensive pie on offer will still run you to just ¥650. Pizzas are cooked in a proper oven but served on plastic trays, McDonalds-style, and while the quality is variable it's hard to complain at these prices. With an accompanying menu of cheap 'n' greasy antipasti, soft drinks and budget-priced wine (¥2,000 per bottle!), it goes a long way to reclaiming pizza's reputation as cheap, easy fast food.
