Shimokitazawa Curry Festival 2014

'Making Shimokitazawa the holy ground of curry' is the motto of this spicy ten-day festival - get free maps at the station, follow the curry trail and stuff yourself at over 100 participating restaurants this year, the most since the festival started in 2012. Director Yuki Iwai says it’s impossible to try all of them, so you'll just have to trust your instincts to find that one perfect dish. If you're really lucky, you might even spot Curry Man around the corner.
