Time Out says

If flamboyant frontman David Lee Roth is based in Tokyo now, does that make Van Halen's date here a homecoming gig of sorts? Postponed from November last year, the Tokyo Dome show gives the veteran hard rockers a belated chance to support none-too-shabby 2012 comeback album A Different Kind of Truth. The band is covering itself, but in a way that’s exuberant and fully committed: when Roth and company burn through their MSG set, you’ll actually want them to play the new stuff.
