Review

The Tokyo Dome (home to the Yomiuri Giants) first opened with a covered dome system in 1998, and is the Tokyo region’s largest concert venue, with a capacity of 55,000. It goes without saying that the acoustics can at times be problematic, however, the dome regularly hosts big-name acts like The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Madonna along with other popular musicians. In association with the dome, there is also a large cluster of satellite attractions including a hot spring spa and amusement park.
