Recently opened Shibuya club 0 Zero gets its first big-name guest this month, in a party that's sure to appeal to hardcore disco nerds. If the name John Morales doesn't ring a bell, you've probably heard his work: a pioneer of the disco edit, the Bronx native went on to release over 650 mixes in his M+M studio duo with the late Sergio Munzibai. He heads here in support of the recently released The M+M Mixes Vol. 3, the latest in a series of compilations that rounds up notable productions from his creative heyday. Consider it an education in the history of dance – and an ass-shaking one, at that.
