He's produced everyone from Bowie to Cher, has three Oscars to his name, and was recently given a starring role on the new Daft Punk album. Now, king of disco Giorgio Moroder is trying his hand at DJing. Fresh from his first-ever DJ gig in New York, he'll be bringing his newfound skills to Tokyo's Billboard Live, with some help from accomplice Chris Cox (of chart-conquering production duo Thunderpuss). Expect wall-to-wall disco grooves, plenty of Donna Summer compositions and a liberal splash of vocoder – though it'll be interesting to see how this all works in a sit-down venue.
