Time Out says

People always hope for good weather when they hold a gig outdoors, but it's the really grotty ones that tend to get remembered. That's certainly true of Date Course Pentagon Royal Garden's comeback show at Hibiya's open-air amphitheatre in 2010, a now-legendary affair in which the weather gods seemed intent on washing Naruyoshi Kikuchi's prog-jazz ensemble off the stage. The experience didn't seem to deter them, mind you: the group – now known as DCPRG – have been making repeat trips to the 'Yaon' ever since. Their latest show drafts in support from James Brown aficionados Zainichi Funk – always a riotously entertaining live act - and Simi Lab, the hip hop crew featured on last year's Second Report from Iron Mountain USA album.
