Time Out says

Erwin Blumenfeld's bold, often experimental images were a staple of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar magazines during the '40s and '50s, and he's gone on to be recognised as one of the most important fashion photographers of the 20th century. The first solo exhibition of his work to be held in Japan, A Hidden Ritual of Beauty features nearly 300 photos from throughout the former Dadaist's career, including a hundred of his personal favourites.
