Sat Dec 11 - Sun Dec 26, 2010 Vacant

Time Out says

New wave/punk band ‘Talking Heads’ were around in the 1970s and 1980s. An art exhibition by David Byrne, the band’s front man, will be held at Vacant in Harajuku. Byrne has been making art since the middle of the 1990s. This exhibition is made up of two parts: ‘Archive’ which give an overview of Byrnes works which have been rarely seen in Japan and ‘Exhibition’ which features new works. There will also be a live homage by artists connected with David Byrne as well as a talk on the ‘Bicycle Diaries’, a project into which he has been pouring a great deal of effort.
