Middle-aged bloat is an affliction suffered by many, if not most, rock bands – but not Wire. As these grizzled survivors of the original post-punk generation proved when they played at Unit's 7th anniversary party last year, they're still a bracing live act (and their 2011 album, Red Barked Tree, wasn't too shabby either). Following on from their appearance at the weekend Neutralnation 2012 fest, the band return to Unit for a headlining show of their own, with support from EP-4 Unit3, the latest live venture by local new wave veteran Kaoru Sato.
