Time Out says

Mixing traditional Japanese festival music with punk, psych rock and a gallimaufry of global influences, 17-strong ensemble Turtle Island are a live force to be reckoned with. The taiko-wielding troupe hit Tokyo this weekend for a follow-up to the Soul Beat Asia festival that they headlined in their native Toyota City earlier in the month – and with extra support from ooh-er punk provocateurs Seppuku Pistols, it promises to give local audiences quite a battering.
