Rock DJ and event promoter Yuya Tsuji has been holding this multi-venue music fest in Shinjuku's Kabukicho district since 2010, but the third edition of Eternal Rock City promises to be extra special: its organiser is finally old enough to buy a drink. As if to celebrate his own coming of age, Tsuji has scaled things up this time around, spreading the action across two days (and one night) at five different venues. As a breakneck tour of the indie underground, it might take some beating: there are over 120 bands taking part, including surefire bets like Wrench, Mo'some Tonebender, Africaemo, Moja, Uhnellys, The Mornings, Suiseinoboaz and 6eyes.
