The K-pop invasion continues apace with this eight-member girl army, who marry the dancefloor nous of 4Minute with the revolving membership approach of AKB48. Afterschool's fun, forgettable Playgirlz album reached number 8 in the Oricon charts when it was released here last month, suggesting that they still have some way to go before achieving the J-pop crossover success of compatriots Kara and Girls' Generation, but it looks like they'll be able to pack out Zepp Tokyo either way.
