Massachusetts native Mike McColgan ditched his original gig as vocalist for Dropkick Murphys in order to follow his uncle into the fire department – only to return to full-time music a few years later as the frontman for this rockin' quintet. Street Dogs are often lumped in with the Celtic punk scene represented by Flogging Murphy and McColgan's old band, but at this Tokyo date they're probably going to be out-Irished by their support act: 'paddy beat' perennials The Cherry Coke$.
