Growing up in New Orleans, Troy Andrews got an early start in music: he played his first gig at the age of four, and was a bandleader by the time he hit six. Now aged 26, he's got over two decades of experience behind him – all of which becomes apparent when you witness the live spectacle that is Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Juggling trombone, trumpet and vocal duties, Andrews acts as a brilliant frontman to his group's energetic blend of funk, jazz and rock.
