A portable shrine dominates the centre of this tiny Shibuya club, which aims to create a traditional festival atmosphere within the walls of a very confined space. If that all sounds a little overwhelming, it is, but it's also a lot of fun: at seemingly random intervals the shrine is lowered, hoisted on to the shoulders of staff and willing volunteers, and jostled around to the lively background of chanting and clapping. The menu comprises a selection of Japanese dishes, including a ¥900 lunch set, plus a drinks lineup including draught beer (starting at ¥650), whiskey, wine and nihonshu.
