When Ebisu-based streetwear brand Devilock decided to call it a day at the end of last year, it also meant bringing the curtain down on the company's annual music fest. Always a far rockier prospect than the misleadingly titled Rock in Japan, Devilock Night also does a better job of joining the dots between Japan's past and present guitar wranglers, meaning that you'll see '90s staples like Cocobat, Hellbent and Bloodthirsty Butchers alongside newcomers including Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas and Okamoto's. And there's no disputing the calibre of a lineup that includes such surefire crowd pleasers as Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, 10-Feet, 9mm Parabellum Bullet, Maximum The Hormone, Brahman... we could go on, but here's the complete bill:
