Time Out says

An avid art collector, Bridgestone founder Shojiro Ishibashi ended up transforming his personal collection into a dedicated gallery 60 years ago. The Bridgestone Museum of Art celebrates its anniversary this spring, with an exhibition of notable works from its now 2,500-strong collection. Monet, Renoir, Cézanne and Picasso all feature, with the art divided into 11 themed sections, including portraits, mountains and still life. The exhibition also offers the museum an excuse to show off two of its recent acquisitions, by underrated Impressionist painter Gustave Caillebotte and 20th century landscape artist Shikanosuke Oka.
