As the American edition of bimonthly beat-digger journal Wax Poetics prepares to launch its 50th issue, its Japanese offshoot is celebrating a milestone of its own this weekend. The magazine's third birthday party features live sets by keyboardist Hidefumi Ino and newly formed hip hop unit Sick Team, plus a lengthy DJ roster including DJ Duct, Tadashi Yabe and Toshio Matsuura.
