Billed as the largest New Year's party in the Tokyo area, Electronic Tribe always boasts some big names, though last year's apparently struggled to pull in the crowds to match. The latest is headlined by veteran New York DJ (and frequent Tokyo visitor) Francois K., with support from Bristol bass worshipper RSD aka Rob Smith and vinyl fiend extraordinaire Nick The Record. There's also a strong showing of Japanese artists, including world champion turntablist DJ Kentaro, Shibuya-kei alumni Towa Tei and Y. Sunahara, dubstep don Goth-Trad and experimental knob twiddlers ATAK Dance Hall.
