It's fair to say that Indonesian rave music is a little underrepresented on the Tokyo club scene at the moment. Funkot fans can get their fix at Shinsekai on Sunday, while people who've never even heard of Funkot can find out what the funk it is (spoiler: it's basically Indonesia's answer to happy hardcore). There's live music from Hati 93 Dangduters, a Japanese-Indonesian group who sound like a wedding in Jakarta (maybe), while DJ Jet Baron – Japan's prime exponent of Funkot – will be laying down the grooves. Funking brilliant.
