The autumn edition of popular all-nighter Taico Club arrives at the tail end of the summer festival season, just a week after Metamorphose, and it looks likely to attract a similar crowd. The action moves from Nagano to Niigata, to a ski ground and campsite not all that far from the site used for Fuji Rock Festival. Otherwise, the format is fairly similar: the music starts mid-afternoon and runs until late morning the following day, with an eclectic blend of live acts and DJs. This year's event features Border Community stalwarts James Holden and Nathan Fake, Warp electronica artist Bibio, Japanese dubstepper Goth-Trad and a strong showing of domestic guitar bands, including Kicell, The Telephones and Tenniscoats.
