Designtide is an art and design trade fair produced by designers and creators from around the world. The 2010 event will take place over five days, from Saturday October 30 to Wednesday November 5 at Tokyo Midtown Hall. The event aims to showcase new and original works and ideas with a focus on interior and product design, architecture, editorial design and fashion. Designtide is made up of the Tide Exhibition, where manufacturers and buyers can come together, the Tide Market, where designers can exhibit and sell their own products, and the Tide Extension, where works are exhibited in individual shops and galleries across areas like Aoyama, Harajuku, Shibuya, Roppongi and Marunouchi.
