Time Out says

One of the few real surprises at this year's Summer Sonic, these LA synth-poppers managed to rock the crowd despite being in the unfortunate position of opening up the entire festival. With hits like 'Dreaming' and 'Karaoke' in their arsenal, Smallpools are poised to rise from the endless sea of indie outfits any time now. This Shibuya gig comes hot on the heels of their latest US tour, so the boys should be in top shape. Tickets go on sale September 5.
