Her two 2014 performances in the capital were both knockout shows, so Tokyo clubbers will be more than happy to welcome Russian DJ phenom Nina Kraviz back to Womb in May. Fresh off a year that saw her pick up both Beatport's 'DJ of the Year' award and a 'Best Artist' honour in Clubberia's annual poll, the flashy and controversial Kraviz released her DJ-Kicks mix in January to surprising critical acclaim. Far more complex, meditative and experimental than her image might suggest, her tunes are well worth appraising live.
