Yoshikatsu Fujii: Incipient Strangers

Sat Mar 7 - Sun Apr 5, 2015 Reminders Photography Stronghold

Time Out says

Using a collage style to document broken familial relationships, photographer Yoshikatsu Fujii draws on his own experiences as a child of divorced parents to bring understanding and a sharp perspective into situations marked by anger, hate and desperation. Exploring how even family members can feel like and be treated as strangers, Fujii's work is both controversial and deeply encouraging. In addition to displays of prints, the exhibit also features sales of the artist's monographs.
