Def Mix Tribute to Frankie Knuckles

Sat Jan 17, 2015 Liquidroom

Time Out says

Known as the original Godfather of House, Frankie Knuckles passed away unexpectedly in March 2014, leaving behind a mighty legacy of beats honed over a career that began in NYC in the '70s and came to span five decades. Veteran spinner and Frankie's close friend David Morales will be playing through the night at this tribute party, all the proceeds of which go to the Frankie Knuckles Fund, established to support HIV prevention and treatment in Africa, the UK and the US.
