Daikanyama's Unit opens up all three floors for its traditional New Year's party that bucks the trend by offering top-quality music at a very reasonable price – ¥2,000 if you enter before 2am. The lineup includes names like barnstorming hip-hop trio Sick Team, minimalist art rockers Mouse On The Keys, beat virtuoso Gonno and veteran Tokyo spinner David Dicembre.
