A part of ‘Tokyo, Soup, Blanket and Travelogue’, an art project focused on ‘the beginnings and endings that occur in our everyday lives’, this talk event will be hosted by playwright Shirotama Hitsujiya and novelist/manga artist Erika Kobayashi, who was a candidate for the prestigious Akutagawa Prize this year. The duo recently visited Aogashima, the most isolated inhabited island of the Tokyo-administered Izu archipelago, and now get together with a trio of guests to share their experiences and look at Tokyo from a fresh perspective.
