Staffed by a bunch of aspiring pop idols and anime voice actors (this is where Dempagumi.inc started out), the multi-storey Dear Stage is one of the most popular nightspots for Akihabara’s legion of otaku. You can catch live performances every evening in the ground-floor stage area (which costs ¥500 on the door), or head upstairs to a pair of bars that charge ¥500 per hour. The food and drinks selection are both a step up from what you'd expect at the average maid café, which might explain why some of the regular customers come here practically every day.
