Japan's Best 'Makanai' Recipe Book

Wed Apr 16, 2014 Pagliaccio

Time Out says

Makanai literally translates to boarding food – the stuff you get at dorms or staff canteens. It's not haute cuisine, but with a bit of care, even such a meal can be exceptionally delicious. Author Tsuneyoshi Noji has compiled his top makanai recipes, previously published in magazines like Dancyu, as well as on his Facebook page and the TV show Table of Dream, into this cookbook. Listen to the author's presentation and pick up your copy at this event.
