Now here's a musical guest you don't see every day: California-based singer and songwriter Mateo Stoneman brings his bolero style to Tokyo for two gigs this weekend. After encountering Latin music while doing prison time in Los Angeles for stealing, this New Hampshire native started off his music career by picking up Spanish and Cuban chords, and later released his debut album Mateo in Cuba. Stoneman is now touring to promote his third album Under the Moonlight – make sure to pick up a copy after the show.
