Time Out says
Guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel, one of the leading names in contemporary jazz right now, has managed to stay in the limelight ever since his 1996 release East Coast Love Affair. Having set his artistic sights on outer space on the 2012 album Star of Jupiter, Rosenwinkel has been known to mix it up with his sets, often relying on improvisation to engage the audience. This date at Cotton Club will take place over two nights, and the leading man himself will be backed up by pianist Aaron Parks, bassist Orlando le Fleming, and drummer Colin Stranahan.
