Review

This inconspicuous delicatessen in Higashi-Kitazawa specializes in Egyptian dishes, and the Cairean take on the falafel, made with bright green broad beans rather than chickpeas, makes for an interesting alternative. They're often eaten plain in Egypt, but you can have them served as a sandwich in a small pita pocket, topped with pickles, if you can't bear to be break with tradition entirely.
