Review

The store, which is operated by Piece Incorporated, is both a production facility and an office for the Kahala Nuts! brand. The representative director of Piece Inc., Jay Ishimaru, regularly travels back and forth between Japan and Hawaii in order to import the nuts directly from Hawaii. To ensure food safety standards the shop uses the same production equipment that Kahala Nuts! in Hawaii use. Furthermore, all of the nuts they sell are hand processed right here in Ebisu. In addition to six types of glazed nuts including macadamia and almond varieties, the shop also offers a range of salted and un-salted varieties. ¥630 (inc. tax) will get you 85g of Kahala Nuts!, and a larger size, 226g, costs ¥1,260 (inc. tax). The shop also offers intermittent classes on how to make Hawaiian ribbon leis.
