New openings

Review

'Gourmet fish and chips' may sound like an oxymoron, but that's exactly what the folks at Roppongi's Malins have successfully hooked a number of Tokyoites on since setting up shop last summer. The Scottish-British-Japanese crew are now taking another step forward with this new branch, opened right by quiet Hatagaya Station in June. Head over for finely fried cod and chips, mushy peas and British beer – but expect to pay upwards of ¥1,500 for the pleasure.
