Review

Tucked away in a residential area, behind Nezu Institute of Fine Arts in Minami-Aoyama, Tahiti offers Asian cuisine with a focus on Thai – and not, as the name suggests, Tahitian. To find it, rather than looking for a signboard displayed outside (there isn’t one), look for a building with white wooden panelling. The chef here originally studied French cuisine, but then later became interested in Oriental cooking – specifically, formal Thai cuisine. As it turns out, French-style sauces go very nicely with authentic Thai. In addition to food, they also serve a range of different alcoholic beverages.
