Review

Once one of the city's best places for foreign books and magazines, Aoyama Book Center drastically scaled back its international section a few years ago, meaning that there are now slim pickings for English readers. It's still good for photography, architecture, design and other artistically minded tomes, and the location – in a basement off Aoyama-dori – means that it rarely gets as crowded as some of Tokyo's other major bookshops.
