Known locally as ‘the Picasso of pastry making’, Pierre Herme, a major figure in the modern French pastry industry, opened this store in February 2005. His beautiful sweets are almost works of art, and are displayed on the first floor of this self-styled ‘luxury convenience store’. There are around 20 kinds of macaroon available and new creations are introduced each season. Bar Chocolat, on the second floor, is a refined space to enjoy some of the delicious chocolate matched with a glass of champagne.
