Review

Le Pommier is a patisserie owned by Fédéric Madelaine, who has trained in patisseries and chocolatiers in Nantes, France. For his contributions to France’s culinary profession, he was awarded the honour of ‘Chevalier’, the French equivalent of a knighthood, in February 2009. His speciality is sweets in the shape of the animal of the year - in 2009, you’ll find éclairs shaped like oxen. There are also pastry classes held in the laboratory-like kitchen among the busy chefs.
