Review

Where pizza is concerned, Isola really means business. The space may be simple and the seats uncomfortable, but the pizzas – cooked to perfection in the hand-crafted, wood-fired Neapolitan-style oven that dominates the dining room – are second to none. The quattro formaggi (four cheeses) or the shirasu (whitebait) come particularly recommended. But whether they are worth the hefty price tag (up to ¥3,000 a pop) is definitely your call.
