Music, Art & Culture

Review

There’s a pop culture revolution brewing at this ‘social TV station’ studio, which moved from out-of-the-way Ikejiri-Ohashi to a prominent location inside Shibuya's Parco department store in 2012. 2.5D shares some of its DNA with live-streaming hotspot Dommune, but there's more of a pop culture focus here – and the location itself isn't nearly as claustrophobic. DJs, idol groups, rock bands and electronica artists might all appear in the space of a typical week at 2.5D (check the schedule on their website for details), and if you can't make it to an event, you can always tune in online instead.
