It only takes a glance at the countertop display case – crammed with generous hunks of carrot cake, caramel pecan blondies, cherry cranberry buckle, chocolate brownies and more – to know that this New York-style bakery is the real deal. Owner Homare Otsubo spent nearly a decade living in the Big Apple, and this Azabu-Juban spot does a good job of replicating the feel of a Downtown café. The ginger and peanut butter cookies taste even better when accompanied with a cup of coffee (beans courtesy of Streamer Coffee Company), and there's an eat-in space if you want to take your time. With cakes this good, we wouldn't blame you.
